Drunchies is a dinner-party service with the goal to bring the restaurant experience into your home. Sit back and allow us to serve you course after course of delicious and artistically plated seasonal food.

Planning a date night for you and your special someone? I’ll serve you a romantic dinner for two, and you’ll hardly know I’m there.

Wanting to impress your friends, family, or colleagues with a fun night of eating and drinking? I offer plated meals for up to 10 guests but I can accommodate larger parties of up to 50-75 guests.

And don’t worry about the clean-up, at the end of the night we will clean up your kitchen so that it looks like we were never there.

about me.

Hi, I’m Jonah and I’m addicted to food (not really… but kinda).

I fell in love with food at a young age helping my mom make meatballs as she told stories of her childhood, watching my granddad carve the turkey on Thanksgiving, and creating my first original recipe: the inside-out burger (that ended up being a rip-off of the juicy lucy burger). I quickly turned cooking into a hobby of mine, spending every moment of my free time watching cooking videos/shows, looking up new recipes to try, and sharing my culinary successes (and some of my failures) with friends and family.

I pride myself on my ability to be creative, so when I started to apply that creativity in the kitchen, my hobby turned into a passion. I am constantly researching and brainstorming new recipe ideas and asking my wife Alexa things like “what if I made Arroz Con Pollo into arancini?” or “do you think I could make Paté En Croute out of chopped brisket?”. Some of my ideas turn into dishes that are really tasty and exactly how I pictured them in my head (and sometimes with a napkin sketch), and some of my other ideas turn out to be not—so-tasty (if we’re lucky, those don’t make it past the conceptualization stage). Nevertheless, one of the things I have loved the most about cooking is the care and hospitality involved with serving others. And while I’ve never worked in a professional kitchen (unless you count working one shift in my hometown’s barbecue restaurant), I am constantly learning, researching, and striving to perform at the level of a professional chef.

My goal with the Drunchies Supper Club is to package the creativity, hospitality, and techniques of modernist cuisine and fine dining into something that is fun, funky, and familiar enough for middle Americans like you and I to enjoy. Let me take you on a culinary adventure, I promise it won’t disappoint!

  • I will typically make special portions for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies, but I can also create an entire menu to avoid certain foods. It’s all up to you and what you desire.

  • The pricing varies depending upon:

    • Amount of guests

    • Amount of courses (4-, 5-, or 6-courses)

    • Extra add-ons (drink pairings, birthday cakes, etc.)

    I strive to source high-quality ingredients and to make as many things from scratch that make sense. If I do need to buy anything pre-made (like bread, for instance), I will source that from a local spot that does it far better than I ever could. I will spend about a week brainstorming, sourcing, and testing each menu.

    The price isn’t cheap, but neither is dining out and this is an experience that you and your guests will talk about for years to come!

  • Yes! We would love to decorate your table with centerpieces, tablecloths, etc. per your request at no additional charge.

  • I only book dinners on Saturday nights, the time is up to you and when you want to eat.

    My team and I show up 1 - 1.5 hours before the time you choose to eat in order to set up, do some final prep, and anything else that may need to be done prior to your dinner.

  • I prefer to be behind-the-scenes. So if your kitchen is separate from where your party will be dining, I will cook in your kitchen. If there is no separation, I will typically set up outside or in your garage. No matter where I set up, the result will stay the same- utterly delicious!
